- You need of all-purpose flour.
- Prepare of wheat flour.
- It's of salt.
- Prepare of cumin powder.
- You need of yogurt.
- It's of sugar.
- You need of oil.
- You need of Warm water for kneading the dough.
- You need of Ou.
- It's of Oil for deep frying.
Puri is prepared with maida & flour and fried. Halwa is prepared with semolina and cooked with sugar syrup. Aloo ki bhujia is prepared with potatoes, green chilies & tamarind pulp and cooked. Chana is prepared with chickpeas and cooked with spices.

- Mix all dry ingredients..
- Now add oil n yogurt n mix well..
- Now gradually pour water n form a soft dough. Knead it for 5 to 10 mins. Now grease it with oil n cover the lid. Keep it aside for minimum half n hour to 1 hour..
- Now make small balls out of it..
- Now press them to be flatten using oul if needed. Roll it with rolling pin or increase its size by using your hands..
- Heat oil.. n deep fry them 1 by 1. Keep pressing them gently.. than flip n fry from another side. Don't over fry them.. we just want nice golden colour on it. Your soft puri is Ready to Serve..
- Tip : *Never use Ghee in dough making of puri... it'll make your puri hard or crunchy. For soft Puri always go for Cooking Oil. *Make sure the Puri is not too thin or too thick. *For deep frying Oil should be hot.. otherwise puri will become crispy..
