- Prepare 3/4-Cup of leftover rice.
- You need 1 -Cup of rava / semolina.
- You need 1/4-Cup of chopped coriander.
- Prepare 2 of Green chilli chopped.
- You need 5 of Curry leaves chopped.
- It's 2 of onion chopped.
- Prepare 6 of Cashew nuts chopped.
- It's 1-tbsp of raisins.
- It's 1-tbsp of oil for tempering.
- You need 1/2-tsp of hing / asafoetida.
- It's 1 -tsp of jeera / cumin.
- Prepare as per taste of Salt.

This tampering gives a very nice flavour to the dosa and does not take more than five minutes. Prepare the batter by mixing together the sooji, rice flour, salt, all purpose flour, hing, onions, cumin seeds, ginger, and cilantro with a whisk or a fork until well combined. Slowly add the yogurt water mixture in batches while whisking in between so you don't have any lumps. Grind onions, tamarind paste, dry red chilies, salt and the garlic into a coarse paste.
