- Add all the above ingredients in boiled potatoes.mash them nicely.and make a dough.rest it for 15-20 mins. Soak chana dal for 1-2 hrs, boiled the dal with salt and turmeric powder. Sieve the dal take a pan add refined oil, crackle Heeng, then jeera add boiled dal then add other left spices and cook for 8-10 mins..

Grease ur palm with mustard oil, now take a ball from potato dough, flatten it, fill the stuffing and close it tightly to a ball then flatten it. again grease it with mustard oil and keep it aside now follow the same procedure for rest of dough when oil is ready then put these Tikkis and deep fry them till golden brown.serve it with green and khatti mithi chutney..
