  1. It's 1 cup of Bengal Gram or Chana Daal.

  12. Prepare 2-3 of Tomatoes chopped.

It is the most common dish made in hyderabad which has been passing on since the Nizam's era. Mutton Dalcha is usually prepared during lunch time. It is a very good combination with Bagara khana. Kaddu Ka Dalcha is basically a Hyderabadi recipe made out of lentils and Kaddu, commonly called as lauki or doodhi in Hindi and Bottle Gourd in English.

  3. Pressure cook for about 6-7 whistles. This is a semi thick Curry, so there is no need to add any extra water. Because of the presence of Tomatoes, it's absolutely a good consistency Curry. Simmer just until it's perfectly done and Oil starts separating or the Curry thickens a bit. Check for Salt at this point of time. Garnish with some more of the Coriander Leaves and it's all ready to dish out. Yum!.
