Aloo Tikki is a popular Indian street food which is basically crispy and spicy potato patty. It is one of the most popular chaat items and can be made easily at home too. Aloo tikki instructions
- Take potatoes and grate it. Add corn flour, salt, chilli powder, garam masala,chaat masala, kasori methi, pomegranate seeds, roasted cumin seeds powder,green chilli and chopped coriander leaves. Make a dough of it..
- Take a small quantity and roll it by using your hands and give it shape like tikki by pressing it gently..
- Grease some oil on your hand while rolling the tikkis..
- Put it in refrigerator for 10 - 15 minutes for setting..
- Take a tawa or pan and heat oil. Put tikkis on tawa or in pan and cook it on slow flam while it become crunchy from both the sides. Have patience while cooking..
- Garnish it with boiled channa, whisked curd, roasted cumin seeds powder, salt red chilli powder, chaat masala, chopped onion, mango powder sauce, green sauce and coriander leaves..
- Add little bit of salt and sugar in curd. Use fresh curd..
